Children In Need: Central Junior School

CHILDREN at Central Juniors School set about raising money for Children in Need by creating a copper Pudsey Bear.
The youngsters brought in all their loose change to create the giant Pudsey, which was sprawled out across the floor in the school.
They spent Friday morning filling in the gaps in the outline of the bear and raised £156.61p.

Cashier at the school Marian Sutton had the arduous task of helping the pupils to count up all the loose change.

She said: "For most of the morning the children were coming in with their money.

"It was really, really good. The children enjoyed it. It is a good idea, we are quite pleased because with the amount raised - it is quite a lot."
