TIME is running out for people wanting to be part of Chichester's gala carnival parade on June 14.
Entries from walkers and motorists have been rolling in for the city council-run event after a slow start, but anyone wanting to take part needs to get their entries in by May 16.

Town clerk Rodney Duggua said "We would still like to see many more vehicles and walking groups taking part. We have to meet this deadline to enable things to run smoothly.

"I must now urge anyone who is still thinking about things to turn their thoughts into action."

The parade will be led by the Band of the Adjutant General's Corps and will start and finish from New Park Recreation Ground.

To enter visit the city council's website or call 01243 788502 and ask for Claire Adams.
