Bosham residents said 'Cheers!' to the opening of a new domiciliary care home in the village.
King's Lodge on Bosham's Main Road put on a champagne opening gala, with one of the residents from the home next door cutting the ribbon.

Manager Michelle Shann said: "We felt there was a real need here – there is a shortage of specialist dementia-care beds in the area."

The home will cater for up to 77 mostly elderly residents. Michelle added: "We wanted to open our doors for people to come and see our facilities, and the turnout was amazing.

"The positivity of the community has been really encouraging."
