OVER 500 jobs could be created in Hastings by a new business centre.
Hastings and Bexhill Renaissance Ltd has applied to construct eight new buildings including offices and light manufacturing in St Leonards.

An application shows a two storey building to the west of Queensway opposite the Castleham Industrial Estate and Napier Road.

The bid is being opposed by The Environment Agency, Natural England and the Sussex Wildlife Trust, which say it will damage features of a Site of Special Scientific Interest at Marline Valley Woods.

May 21 is when councillors will debate the application.
