Battle band Keane will have their fingers crossed for Monday's 2008 Q Awards as the group has been nominated for an award.
The three-piece will be hoping to cement their comeback by taking home the Best Track award for their latest single Spiralling.

Keane, who are due to release their third album, Perfect Symmetry, on October 13, had been out of the spotlight whilst lead singer Tom Chaplin battled drink and drug problems.

Tom sought professional help in August 2006, two months after the band's second album, Under the Iron Sea, hit number one in the charts.

It led to the band cancelling shows in Edinburgh, Dublin and Ibiza and postponing a North American tour.

But the singer said in an interview earlier this month he had totally overcome his problems after a "very dark period" in rehab.

Tom and bandmates Tim Rice-Oxley and Richard Hughes previously triumphed at the Q Awards in 2004, taking home the Best Album award for their debut, Hopes and Fears.
