EXCLUSIVE - Murder victim made to wait 15 hours for a hospital bed

IT has emerged this afternoon that murder victim Mohammed Al-Majed was made to wait FIFTEEN hours for specialist care to treat his head injury.
His father claims the NHS has been negligent in its treatment of their son, who died on Sunday after the attack two days earlier.
We can reveal that the teenager was admitted to the Conquest at 1am on Saturday.
A scan was completed by 4am, at which time it became clear he needed to be transferred to a specialist hospital.
But there were no beds available.
Hurstwood Park in haywards Heath and Kings College in London were both unable to take the teenager because they were full.
He was made to wsit 15 hours, and it was only at 7pm on Saturday that a bed finally became available at Kings.
He was then rushed to Kings from the Conquest.
What is unclear at this stage is whether quicker treatment would have saved his life.
This afternoon we will be speaking to both of the hospitals where the beds were full.
