A mum of two was given a curfew order after admitting harassing another woman.
Zayna Moon, 20, who has a one-year-old and a two-year-old, appeared at Hastings Magistrates Court after already pleaded guilty to three separate charges.

Having been convicted of harassment, committing an offence during a period of conditional di
scharge and causing harassment, alarm or distress Moon was back in court for sentencing on Friday.

The court heard how Moon had also missed an appointment with probation at which a report was due to be compiled to help the magistrates decided on a punishment.

Heath Salvage, prosecuting, said: "She had been told not to harass Chloe Shopland in any way. Then on July 21 this year Chloe went with her mum to McDonalds and noticed Moon who then called her a name.

"Moon went outside and then came back in and started asking her questions. Because she ignored her Moon went back to her seat.

"Chloe then heard Moon talking loudly about her and her boyfriend saying they had had sex when they had not. This upset Chloe quite a bit.

"Moon then called her a whore and said: "You're going to get it when I get you."

"Chloe was worried other customers could hear and was intimidated by her behaviour.

"Moon was arrested the next day and admitting being in breach of her harassment warning."

Sam Wingfield, defending, said: "Firstly, she missed her appointment with probation because the letter was sent to the wrong address.

"There has been a lot of history between her and Chloe Shopland over a boyfriend and other matters."

Magistrates decided to hand Moon a curfew for one month, meaning she must stay indoors at her home in Chiltern Drive between 7pm and 7am every day.

She was also given a restraining order forbidding her from acting in any manner likely to cause Chloe Shopland distress of harm for six months.

Moon was also told to pay costs of £30.
