TWO separate attacks, including a stabbing, took place in the Bohemia area over the Bank Holiday weekend.
The first incident occurred in broad daylight on Saturday at 2pm.
A 40-year-old local man was stabbed in the leg by another man in Bohemia Road and needed hospital treatment to a one inch wound.
A weapon was recovered by police and a local man arrested. He was later released on bail to return to the police station in October while further enquiries are carried out.
A police spokesman said it appeared the men were known to each other.
The second incident was the following day in Cornfield Terrace, which runs behind Bohemia Road.
There was a fracas involving four men during which a 32-year-old man suffered cuts to his head. He received hospital treatment and was then discharged.
The road, which is one-way only, was cordoned off for some time while police dealt with the incident.
Enquiries are ongoing.
