The celebrant will be the Bishop of Chichester, The Right Reverend John Hind BA. All are welcome to the service and the celebratory drink in the hall after the service.
Festive morningA festive coffee morning is taking place at St Saviour's church hall on December 1, from 10.30am-12.30pm.
Admission is 50p, which includes a cup of steaming hot coffee and a homemade mince pie.
There will be games and various stalls including delicious cakes and preserves.
Christmas specialAn ITV1 Christmas special programme was filmed at Beachy Head on November 5.
Irish illusionist Keith Barry was filming a stunt involving two celebrities – Emmerdale's Adele Silva and Nadine Coyle from Girls Aloud – a blindfold and a car.
The programme will be aired on Saturday December 29, at 9pm, and is called Keith Barry the Escape Live.
CoffeePolegate Gardeners' Society has a coffee morning on December 1, at Polegate Community Centre, 10am-12noon. There will be a raffle, homemade cakes and bric-a-brac.
Barn danceWillingdon Parish Church will be holding a barn dance on Saturday, November 24, at Willingdon Trees Community Centre, starting at 7.30pm.
The Folk Convention Band will be there and Walter White will be the caller.

BooksStaff at The Esperance Hospital in Hartington Place, will be holding a bring, buy and swap book event for BBC's Children in Need, on Friday
The hospital is opening the doors of its newly refurbished physiotherapy department between 10am and 12.30pm, for a community book event that will help raise funds for the national appeal.
The hospital welcomes hardback and paperbacks in good condition for donation, swapping and purchasing, in exchange for a donation for Children in Need.

Santa ClausFather Christmas will be travelling down Polegate High Street in a 1923 Rolls Royce for a Christmas bazaar to raise money for Polegate Windmill.
Managing Polegate Windmill for Future Generations is holding the bazaar on Saturday November 17, at St John's Church Hall, High Street, Polegate, from 10am to 12.30pm. Entrance is 20p.
Father Christmas will be arriving at St John's Church hall at 10.30am and can be visited by the children, who will receive a small gift.
There will also be a range of craft tables and a tombola, a raffle, a name the bear competition, plus bric-a-brac, cake and book stalls.
Tea, coffee and mince pies will be served throughout the morning.
All profits will go towards the continued maintenance of Polegate Windmill.

CoffeeThe Friends of Eastbourne Hospitals will be holding a Christmas coffee morning on November 17, from 10am-12noon.
The event will be held at St John's parish hall and all proceeds will go towards the year's special project — a full field digital mammography system for the DGH.
The suggested entry donation is £1, which covers coffee.
Boot saleSt Barnabas Church is holding a boot sale on December 1.

There will be a fancy dress competition for the children, grand raffle, tombola, games, Christmas crafts to buy and cake stall — as well as a visit from Santa.
