ECSTATIC Ifield Community College celebrated after a record number of students gained five or more A* to C grades.
A total of 81 percent of students achieved the standard, which is up from 64 per cent last year.
Delighted principal, Dr William Lind, said: "I am thrilled with these outstanding results and delighted for the students and their parents.
"I am very proud of the students and staff. They all worked extremely hard and are to be congratulated on their success.
"I am confident that these results will once again place Ifield Community College amongst the top 5 per cent of schools nationally."
Meanwhile at Oakwood School in Horley, students were also celebrating a record breaking set of results.
The percentage of students gaining 5A*-C or more was 56 per cent, with 57 per cent of all grades being C grade and above.
This was an increase on last year and the school's best result for five years.
The percentage of students achieving 5A*-C including English and Mathematics at 45 per cent was the best ever.
Headteacher Sue Child said: "I am delighted with this excellent set of results and this is testament to the hard work of the students their teachers and parents. Congratulations to all."
