Crawley residents were treated to a spectacular display of lightning yesterday evening (Wednesday August 6).
Heavy showers and numerous dramatic bolts of lightning were clearly visible from around 7.30pm for more than an hour.

The pictures shown were taken by Benjamin Goddard, from Pound Hill North, and Dean Waddington, taken from Tilgate looking towards Furnace Green.
