POLICE have released the identity of the man found hanged near a kid's playground in Bewbush.

He was identitified as David Betchley, 51, of Brighton Road, Redhill, Surrey.
A dog walker discovered the deceased man's body early on Tuesday morning behind Bewbush Leisure Centre.
A spokeswoman for Sussex Police said: "The Coroner's Officer has now confirmed the identity of the man whose body was found near a footbridge in the vicinity of Bewbush Leisure Centre on Breezehurst Drive, Crawley, yesterday morning (September 30).
"He is named as Mr David Leonard Betchley, 51 years, from Brighton Road, Redhill, Surrey.
"The man's family have been notified. The matter is now being dealt with by H.M. Coroner for West Sussex."
