Dog walker's car stolen

A car was stolen from a car on the Ashdown Forest while the owner was walking a dog.
It was taken between 11.30am and 12.30pm on March 14, police reported this (Monday) morning.

The owner parked the vehicle at the Ellison Pond car park at Nutley on the Ashdown Forest whilethey walked their dog.

When they returned the Minsubushi L200 Warrior (VU54 YVG) was gone.

It is valued at about £20,000.

The owner of the vehicle is a farrier and the vehicle contained all the tools of his trade.

The police are asking anyone who may have witnessed this theft or anyone that may have any information to contact PC Pete Russell at Crowborough police station on 0845 60 70 999 quoting serial 762 of the 14th March 2007 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
