A PLAY about a turbulent couple's relationship was staged by Year 13 students at Hailsham Community College (HCC).
The teenagers presented Dario Fo's social comedy The Open Couple on Wednesday and Thursday (July 1 and 2).

The play marks the final project after two years studying a performing arts (acting) course.

Mark Dabernig, drama teacher, said: 'The play's themes revolve around the turbulent relationship between a couple, played by all four actors in the group.

'Their marriage has gone through a whole range of ups and downs - just like life, I suppose.

'There are some serious points made in the play about the battle of the sexes.'
