Letter: Early blooms - it’s not a record

WHILE it cheered me up on a cold, wet day to see the photograph of two early blooming daffodils in last week’s paper, I’m afraid it is not a record.

I noticed two daffodils in full flower on the school’s south facing grass slope in the week before Christmas.

I wonder if other readers have noticed anything comparable during this fairly mild winter.
