Letter: Name and shame those responsible over Lewes C

I REFER to Lewes Cinema’s closure by the town council without consultation. Shame on the town council. The 16 councillors who voted this through should be named and shamed – and bravo to the two who voted against. It will be interesting to find out who they are.

Lewes Cinema have built up their business over the past ten years and offered a very popular service which no one else did at that time.

Now they have made a success of their enterprise, they are being forcibly closed down with no prior consultation.

The proposed seat installations at All Saints should still proceed but with Lewes Cinema at the helm.

Penny Brown,

Lewes
