AT the end of a surprising year as Mayor and Mayoress of Lewes, we’d like to thank the Sussex Express for the kind attention your reporters and photographer have given to the many civic events it’s been our privilege to attend. Can we also thank the councillors and residents of the town for their support, especially for our two charities: the Pells Pool and the Oyster Project. We wish the new Mayor, Cllr Michael Chartier, and his wife Monica well for the coming year.
