Turbine better than stadium
THE people of Ringmer must be getting totally fed up with the wingers and whiners going on about the turbine. I have friends and relations in Ringmer who have no objections just like Anna Sherrard in her letter last week.
Perhaps the objectors would like a football stadium, an incinerator and a sewerage plant instead, such as people in other areas are having to put up with.
Next time you go past the stadium, incinerator or sewerage plant enjoy the noise and light pollution, the smoke and the smell. I’m sure the people in these areas would much rather have had a wind turbine.
