Festival season hits Brighton

A FOUR-DAY music festival featuring some massive acts will take place in Brighton this summer.
Jose Gonzalez, Lightspeed Champion, Fun Loving Criminals and the Magic Numbers are just some of the artists confirmed for this years festival.

Also on the bill will be Reverend and the Makers,The Maccabees, The Young Knives, Roisin Murphy, The Brakes, Peggy Sue and The Pirates, Hercules and Love Affair, Nouvelle Vague, Terry Callier, Bonobo, Roy Ayers and Amp Fiddler.

The city's restaurants Pintxo People and Terre à Terre will serving up top quality food as will pubs the Yeoman, Royal Oak and the Three Jolly Butchers.

Running from August 22 – 25 over the August Bank Holiday, Beachdown Festival will set up camp on the outskirts of Brighton on the South Downs.

A full weekend pass is £85.

However, if you're quick you can get hold of one of a limited number of early bird tickets priced at just £75.
