Brighton Live showcases the town's musical talent from September 23 - 27.
The event will take in three key areas of the city, with colour coded festival zone maps to make it easier to find the gigs.
Last year's event saw more than 20,000 music fans flock to concerts, free shows and panels, seminars and workshops.
More than 250 bands performed at nearly 100 free gigs in over 30 venues across the city.
The full line up will be announced on September 1.
