THERE was no nudity at a recent burlesque performance in Lewes, but a few nipple tassels!
Around 300 people attended the event at the Market Lane Garage, which was transformed into a vintage night club complete with champagne bar and a car from the 1930s

Organiser of the event Stevie Auden, from Oyster Lingerie, said: 'There's no nudity in burlesque, although I think it was the first time most of the audience had seen nipple tassels twirling and everyone really enjoyed it!

'It's more suggestive than anything, really humorous and sexy and loads of fun.'

The event also featured two live bands, Sweet Sweet Lies and The Magic Number, and DJs playing vintage dance music.

If you missed out last time another evening is planned on Valentines Night at the All Saints Centre, Lewes.
