THERE really is something for everyone at the Autumn Show and Game Fair on Saturday and Sunday, October 6 and 7, at the Ardingly showground.
And we are delighted to be giving away tickets, valid on either day of the show, with an easy-to-enter competition. The weekend promises country sports of hunting, shooting and fishing - including a clay pigeon shoot, fly casting displays, gundog trials, and terrier racing.

There's fun for all the family with an amazing array of locally-produced food and drink to stunning entertainment. Marvel at the Kent and Surrey bloodhounds display on Saturday, and enjoy the cavalcade of hunts on Sunday. Watch gun dogs in action, and see the cute donkey show (Sunday). Building on its launch at last year's Show, the Game Fair element in 2007 promises to be bigger and better: promoting game as a really healthy food, and a way of life with several local colleges running 'game' courses for students. The Show sees the final of a unique cookery competition Ready Steady Cook-style. (Saturday at 11am).

The High Sheriffs of East and West Sussex will pit their wits against each other, ably assisted by top chefs. It's a fun competition to promote local produce - the importance of supporting producers and buying and cooking locally-sourced ingredients. To win one of our five family tickets (worth £15 each) just answer this simple question, which food is being especially celebrated at the show? Full details and on-line tickets from www.seas.org.uk. or pay at the gate. Open: 9am daily. Close 5pm daily.

To enter the competition, answer the following question correctly and send your answer on a postcard (or sealed down envelope] to: Show Competition, Sussex Expresds, 25 High Street, Lewes, BN7 2LU. Don't forget to include your name and address.

Question: Who will be taking part in a Ready Steady Cook-style competition at the autumn show at Ardingly.

Usual Express rules apply. Closing date, first post on September 28.
