LESLIE Grantham is the star in Frederick Knott's Write Me A Murder at Guildford's Yvonne Arnaud Theatre from Tuesday, June 15 - Saturday June 20.
Brothers Clive and David Rodingham inherit the family fortune upon the death of their father.

They then meet businessman Charles and his wife Julie, a would-be thriller writer.

Charles is anxious to work with the brothers on property deals, and so encourages David, who is also a writer, to co-author a murder story with Julie. It isn't long before the two concoct the perfect crime, which is soon twisted into a reality.

Leslie Grantham, best known as Den Watts in EastEnders, has recently finished the UK tour of Murder With Love and Dad's Army playing Private Walker. Other television credits include The Stretch, which reunited him with Anita Dobson, Paradise Club, 99-1, The Bench and Fort Boyard.
Tickets on 01483 440000 or by visiting the website at www.yvonne-arnaud.co.uk.
