Home damaged in burglary

EXTENSIVE damage was inflicted on a home in Rusper during a burglary last night (Friday November 28).
Sussex Police said the occupiers may have disturbed the burglars at the address near Horsham Road.

Police have added that an axe was used during the break-in.

An appeal for information was issued today and police have launched an investigation.

The burglary is thought to have happened at around 7.10pm.

Officers want to speak to anyone who was in the Horsham Road area of Rusper last night.
