THE FAMILY of a Horsham grandfather killed in a crash on the A24 on Wednesday (October 1) morning has been left devastated by his death.
David Champion, 59, was on his way home from Dorking when he died in the accident in his red Nissan Almera, near Beare Green, at 9.33am.

David's family this week told the County Times the car and photography enthusiast was their hero.

"He was a great man," they said.

"He was just a wonderful bloke.

"He was a keen motorsports fan and he loved everything about cars."

The semi-retired pensions administrator leaves three children, a grandchild and his partner of 20 years.
