A STAR TREK legend will soon be beamed into Horsham, as the town becomes the shooting venue for a feature-length movie.
On July 21, filming is due to start on '31 North 62 East', a psychological thriller telling the fictional story of an SAS veteran seeking justice after being betrayed by the government.
The bulk of the action will take place in Horsham district and will be shot in locations around the town centre, including the Causeway, and Southwater.
Actress Marina Sirtis, who played Councillor Deanna Troy in the long-running hit series 'Star Trek: The Next Generation', will fly in from Los Angeles for ten days to take part in the movie.
The £2m project is being run by local production company Fact Not Fiction Films, based in Southwater, which recently won 'Best Newcomer' at the County Times Business Awards.
