A STOPPAGE time goal cruelly denied Lewes an FA Trophy replay after they had bravely come from two goals down to draw level at Kidderminster Harriers.

The depleted visitors went a goal down in the 11th minute when Robbie Matthews' free kick deflected off the Rooks wall and beat goalkeeper Rikki Banks.

When Banks was beaten again by Darryl Knights it looked like the Conference side were all but through to the third round but Lewes had other ideas.

11 minutes from time Kane Louis rounded home stopper Dean Coleman to tee up Aaron Hopkinson and five minutes later Louis Pople's fine goal looked to have earned Lewes a dramatic replay.

But Kidderminster rallied in the final minutes and after Banks had pulled off a string of good saves Gavin Caines turned the ball home to put his side through in added time.
