Beautiful ballet to return to Theatre Royal

PREPARED to be dazzled as one of Russia’s most successful ballet companies returns to the Theatre Royal Brighton for what is promised to be a beautiful and spell binding performance.

Touring company Moscow City Ballet and Orchestra will be amazing audiences with their spectacular performances of Russian ballets best loved pieces, The Sleeping Beauty and Swan Lake.

The Sleeping Beauty is the enchanting and romantic story which inspired Tchaikovsky to write some of his most glorious music.

The story of Princess Aurora and handsome Prince has captivated audiences for more than a century.

And that’s not all.

Following The Sleeping Beauty is the well known and much loved Swan Lake.

The production is set to Tchaikovsky’s sublime score performed by a live orchestra.

Audiences are invited to follow the fate of Prince Siegfried as he falls in love with the beautiful Swan Queen, Odette, and discover how the power of true love conquers the forces of evil.

With its beautiful music and stunning elegant dancing these are two ballet productions not to be missed.

The ballet runs from Wednesday 26 January until 29 January 2011.

The Sleeping Beauty will be performed on Wednesday 26 and Thursday 27 January while Swan Lake will be hitting the stage on Friday 28 and Saturday 29 January.

Both ballets will start at 7:45pm with matinees at 2:30pm.
