PREVIEW: Mid Sussex Competitive Music Festival

THE syllabus for the annual Mid Sussex Competitive Music Festival is now available in libraries, music shops and schools in Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill, Crawley, East Grinstead and other towns in the Mid Sussex area.

The festival is held at Burgess Hill School for Girls on the weekends of November 14 and 15 (piano, wind, brass and ensembles) and November 21 and 22 (strings and vocal).

Pictured is one of the competition's adjudicators Ann Martin-Davis, who performs internationally and on the radio as well as teaching at the Royal College of Music Junior Department and who will be judging the piano classes.

Closing date for entries is October 9.
