When The Lights Go On Again to be performed by Seaford Musical Theatre
THE SEAFORD Musical Theatre cast and crew will be taking their audiences back to war time England during the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee week, June 6-9. When The Lights Go On Again, by Roy Sault, is a clever musical observation on the humour that took the nation through the dark years; rationing, school concerts, air raids, queues and spam all get a look in, along with the hilarious sergeant major and his motley crew at the Camp Concert. The script follows the Parker family and their interactions with their community with many members writing moving letters to relatives and loved ones who have been called up for the war effort.
