A PIERCING and tattoo studio could open in the historic surroundings of School Hill, Lewes.
The owner of Tizz's has asked Lewes District Council for planning permission to change the use of part of the rear of the shop.

David 'Tizz' Johnson, owner of the shop, said: 'It's something a little different for Lewes.

'We are converting the rear part of the shop and going to put in a state-of-the-art piercing studio if we get permission.

'We've been selling body piercing jewellery for years so it's the next stage on from that.'

Mr Johnson said the studio would only do piercings from the 'waist up'.
