Firefighters cut woman from mini-bus

FIREFIGHTERS cut an elderly woman from the wreckage of a mini-bus after an accident.
The accident happened at around 1.20pm today (Wednesday) when a mini-bus carrying elderly people collided with a car on A26 in Clayhill.

Fire crews from Lewes and Uckfield rushed to the scene and used hydraulic cutting equipment to free the woman.

No serious injuries were recorded by police and the road is open again.
