THOUSANDS of visitors enjoyed Plumpton College's annual open day on Saturday.
The college has estimated 14,000 people flocked to the site and saw or took part in a huge number of events.

A wide variety of Sussex foods was on sale and gallons of rose wine, produced at the college, were sold on the day.

The visitors came from the local area, London, the South East and further afield, and were queueing two hours before the event started.

The college, which specialises in animal care, forestry, floristry and a host of agricultural subjects, also has an acclaimed vineyard and winery.
