Kenn,

This Pythonesque ruling just about sums up the scientific and social understanding prevalent in today’s society. As a word of caution though, I would suggest that the good men of the cloth keep their voices down before the state police discover they are openly flouting the law by carrying out such hideous acts as burning incense and lighting candles within what has been decreed a smoke-free area. This practice has gone on for centuries and if you need any evidence of the dangers of passive smoking from these sources, you need only look at the number of graveyards immediately adjacent to places of worship. Oh, Nanny. Thank God you're there to inform and protect. I never would have known not to smoke in church!
