SOME fascinating moments of history in Lewes will be on show at a special charity evening in aid of Priory School next week.
Since 1858 Edward Reeves Photography has captured a huge number of images of the town and on November 22 Tom Reeves hosts An Evening of Photographs at Priory School.

The picture above is a just one of a vast library of interesting stills and shows an early motor car battling its way through a flock of sheep in the High Street driven by the prosperous owner of one of the local iron foundries.

The fundraising evening begins at 7.30pm (doors open 7pm). Tickets, £5 adults, £2 children, in advance from Edward Reeves Photographers, 159 High St, Lewes.
