A THIRD man has been arrested in connection with two stabbings on the Landport estate, Lewes on Tuesday.
Today (Thursday) police confirmed a man was arrested at Chichester Hospital on suspicion of causing grevious bodily harm.

On Tuesday two men, who also both needed hospital treatment, were arrested on suspicion of the same offence following a bloody fight outside garages in Kingsley Road at around 4pm.

The dispute spread to Eridge Green when the men were involved in a car chase.

Shocked onlookers saw a Mitsubishi Shogun 4 x 4 vehicle deliberately ram a silver Mercedes off the road and onto the green where children
often play football.

The men, and according to one eyewitness a rottweiler dog, got out of the vehicles and hurled abuse at each other.

Police officers arrived soon after and arrested two men.

A police helicopter searched for third men who sped away from the scene.
