Two charged with affray and dangerous driving

TWO men have been charged in connection with an alleged violent incident on the Landport Estate in Lewes on Tuesday.
Two men received stab wounds following an alleged fight outside garages in Kingsley Road at around 4pm.

Soon after a Mitsubishi Shogun 4 x 4 vehicle collided with a silver Mercedes car in Eridge Green.

John Hannington, 40, from Egremont Place, Brighton, and Roger Thorpe, 46, of no fixed abode, have both been charged with affray, dangerous driving and other driving document offences.

Both men were remanded in custody to appear before Eastbourne Magistrates Court today (Friday).

Sussex Police is appealing for witnesses to call 0845 6070999.
