ACTOR Bob Hoskins is selling his £895,000 country home in Chiddingly, according to national media reports.
The 69-year-old star, famous for his roles in films such as ‘Who Framed Roger Rabbit’, and ‘Mona Lisa’, has retired from acting after he was diagnosed from Parkinson’s Disease.
He has now placed the four-bedroom house, shared with his second wife Linda for more than ten years, on the market.
Mr Hoskins’ 13-acre property boasts a heated swimming pool, all-weather tennis court and paddocks.
Estate agents Strutt and Parker did not want to comment further, saying: “No confidential information can be passed on unless a client wishes to self-promote.”
Mr Hoskin’s agent was quoted as saying: “He wishes to thank all the great and brilliant people he has worked with over the years, and all of his fans who have supported him during a wonderful career .
“Bob is now looking forward to his retirement with his family, and would greatly appreciate that his privacy be respected at this time.”
