All welcome to attend Peacehaven Remembrance services

The traditional Remembrance Memorial Service will be held at the War Memorial in Meridian Park, Peacehaven, at 11am on Sunday November 9.

Organisations taking part in the parade will muster in the car park of Peacehaven Police Station at 10am prior to moving off at 10.30am northwards along Sutton Road towards the Meridian Centre.

They will turn into Greenwich Way, then Meridian Way and then into Meridian Park where the War Memorial is situated, to arrive at 10.55am.

The service will be conducted by the Reverend Charlie Goring of the Church of the Ascension.

On Tuesday November 11 the Reverend Charlie Goring will hold a short service to commemorate the end of World War 1.

The town crier of Peacehaven will recite the Exhortation and the chairman of the Royal British Legion will recite the Kohimah Epitaph. Students from local schools will attend this service.
