Two foreign students were assaulted in Seaford on Tuesday evening (April 9) by two men in their early 20s.

The two boys, aged 14, from Austria, were walking along Hythe Crescent just after 7pm when they were approached by two men on the junction of Walmer Road.

The men asked them for a light and then money before punching them in the face.

DC Phil Cracknell said: “This was a cowardly attack on the boys by two white men in their early 20s.

“Both were wearing scarves over their faces, one had a woollen hat, the other a hooded top.

“If anyone witnessed the assaults or has any information that would identify the men they should contact police on 101 or the charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
