Chiddingly Horticultural Society’s autumn show was a well-attended and enjoyable event, according to organisers.

Janet Gasson, of Chiddingly Horticultural Society, said, “Flower and vegetable entries were a little down, possibly due to odd weather conditions, but abundant and excellent entries in the cookery and photographic sections made up for this.

“The children’s entries were, as usual, a delight. The pressed-flower birthday cards were particularly lovely, and we have to thank the Brownies, Rainbows, and Guides for their enthusiastic support.”
