A 22-year-old professional dancer is to pass her love and passion for ballet on to the next generation by setting up her own baby ballet business next month.
In September. Jade Wilkinson is to set up a babyballet franchise, UK’s leading pre-school song and dance academy, which started in Yorkshire in 2005 by mum-of-four Claire O’Connor.
She will starting classes at Summerfields Leisure Centre in Bohemia Road, Hastings.
The award-winning franchise has 65 across the country, all run by women, with more than 10,000 youngsters attending more than 1,000 classes every week.
Jade said: “I have taught at babyballet classes in the past and love the ethos of the company that everyone has a right to dance and enjoy it. I’m excited about starting up on my own, I just hope local people will support me.”
Jade will be introducing local people to babyballet with the help of babyballet character, Twinkle Bear, at Summer Day At The Park in Hastings on August 30 and she has an introductory offer of £15 for a three-week class trial.
