Have your say

You may have had enough of the rain already but the Met Office is warning there is more to come.

Periods of heavy rain are expected to affect East Sussex today (Thursday December 20) and weather experts say this additional rainfall, following the recent wet weather, means that the public should be prepared for an increased risk of both surface water and river flooding.

Further bands of heavy rain accompanied by strong winds are expected to move north-eastwards across many parts of the UK through Saturday and Sunday.

Given that the ground is already saturated, the public should be aware of the risk of further localised flooding.
