Cycle Seahaven reported a great day out for residents who visited the Tour of Britain celebrations.
The group helped organise cycling activities on the Salts Recreation Ground in Seaford on Saturday September 13.
Chairman of Cycle Seahaven Andy Lock said: “We had a fantastic day tweaking bikes, with four of us getting to grips with gears, brakes, punctures and rusty chains.
“The atmosphere was alive with excitement for people of all ages.
“Families picnicked on the lawns while the big screen showed the progress of the race.
“There was a real carnival atmosphere in The Salts and along the Prom.
“It’s great to see the arrival of the Tour of Britain to Newhaven and Seaford. It certainly bolsters the excitement and upsurge in popularity of cycling in Britain.”
