Bike worth almost two thousand pounds stolen in Lewes

Police are appealing for witnesses after a bike was stolen from outside a shop in Lewes on Sunday, July 19.

It was left unattended for a short time on High Street at around 3pm. The bike was not secured but had been leaning against the shop front window.

Response Investigator Nicholas Chrusciel said: “The Giant mountain bike is black and silver with a yellow reflective band on the frame and is believed to be worth around £1,800.

“We would like to hear from anyone who may have seen something suspicious.”
