Police are appealing for information following a burglary at a property in Archery Walk, Hailsham, where four bikes valued at more than £4,500 were stolen.

An outbuilding was broken into between 3pm on Sunday (January 4) and 4pm on Monday (January 5).

A yellow-and-black Motocross BMZ 2011 250cc motorcycle, a red-and-white Giant OCR pedal cycle, a blue-and-white Boardman Comp mountain bike and a white, grey and orange Carrera Kraken mountain bike were stolen.

The Giant bike has specialised rims and the Boardman Comp mountain bike has a seat clamp missing.

PC Ryan Tipping said, “If anyone saw any suspicious activity in the area during the relevant time, or who thinks they may have seen any of the bikes since, I would ask them to email101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101, quoting serial 1043 of 5/1.”
