IT’S Open Garden Day at St Peter and St James Hospice, Chailey, on Saturday, May 26 (1.30pm–5pm).
Visitors will be supporting the work of the dedicated team of volunteer gardeners.
Enjoy the tranquil and beautiful setting of the hospice with views of the South Downs. Take a stroll in the Woodland Walk, and enjoy a performance from the Ditchling Morris and Mummers at 3pm.
You can buy colourful plants donated by South Downs Nurseries from Hassocks, and get advice from their very own ‘plant doctor’ Ed Nugent, between 2 – 4pm. Enjoy wonderful home-made teas as well as other stalls. Families welcome. Free entry. All profits go to the hospice.
