THE HAMSTERS are at Uckfield Civic Centre on February 26 as part of their 25th Year & Farewell Tour

They have long discussed ending the Hamsters adventure at the completion of 25 years, as they have each a lot of other things they would like to do, but have never had the time.
Completing their farewell tour and 25th year together at the end of March, having performed 4,500 concerts - the guitar, bass and drums trio have long been established as one of our premier Blues-Rock attractions. A guitar virtuoso performance you’ll rarely see matched anywhere and the tightest rhythm section in the business.
They will be performing their own brand of rootsy Rock, Blues and Americana, and the show will also include some Jimi Hendrix and ZZ Top songs, for which they’re widely regarded as being the UK’s leading interpreters. Guitarist/singer Slim has also recently been featured in Guitarist magazine’s ‘Blues Guitar Heroes’ book.

According to Bob Harris: “The Hamsters are fabulous: one of Britain’s very best live bands.”
The show begins at 8pm. Tickets: £16.50.
