Britain’s Got Talent star James Anderson visited Uckfield last week. James performed some acoustic tracks live and was interviewed on UckfieldFM by presenter Steve Crow.

Steve said: “ I have no idea how I managed to get him but I have. James, who has just been accepted into Brit School , starred in Thriller and came third in BGT a few years ago. He has over 5,000 followers on Twitter, 22,000 on YouTube, a fair few on Facebook and now he is on my show!”

James Anderson has graced the West End stage, singing Michael Jackson hits and having his mum as his chaperone. He first appeared in BGT in 2009 at the age of ten, receiving a standing ovation from judge Amanda Holden after singing Beyonce’s Listen but did not reach the live semi-finals.

Last year, however, as a 13-year-old he came third in the talent contest as part of boy band New Bounce, behind Ronan Parke and winner Jai McDowall. Since the end of the programme James has parted ways with New Bounce, and is now starring in the hit Michael Jackson musical Thriller Live, whilst getting ready to release music of his own.

He was the first person ever to perform on the stage platform in the Olympic Stadium in front of 10,000 people and also sang in front of former US president Bill Clinton, daughter Chelsea, Princess Beatrice and Will-I-am.
