CYCLING from Newhaven to Lewes is a dangerous challenge but now a group is being formed to tackle the problem by campaigning for a cycle path.
It is holding a cycling breakfast to discuss the issues at Spring Barn Farm in Kingston on Sunday March 13 at 11.30am and all are welcome.
The group is comprised of community members from Ouse valley villages, including environmental groups, cycling groups and parish councillors.
The cycling breakfast will be followed by a riverside walk.
This is the first of a programme of events planned for this spring which will involve consultation with hundreds of residents in towns and villages across the Ouse valley.
The group is also planning a big meeting for Newhaven in May and in Lewes for June.
